African American response: We have always done. Then they burned it to the ground. The white mobs. Greenwood. Tulsa. Wilmington, NC. Many others. That's our history. And we press on though. Jewish people can do but in America, they are still considered "white." Maybe not "white" enough to some but yea, as many of my Jewish friends told me in law school, we are "white." Most Jewish people I know don't even strike me as Jewish. They are just human beings.
