Agitate like Frederick Douglass
Without struggle there is no progress
Come on now, none of you are surprised by what is going on in the United States of America politically. History is your guide. Do not let your country be destroyed and do nothing.
The POTUS is a one trick bully. This is what he does. This is his politics. He is not sharp enough, or tedious enough to do the hard work of politics. He just tries to ramrod things through and dare others to stop him.
Most of his first term, people actually did that. Lawyers. Activists. Employees who leaked information to journalists who then made it go public. Yes, he created chaos and havoc but he still ran into resistance.
He has run into resistance again. People keep saying he learned from the last term; however, the opposition learned as well. I am not talking about most of the Democrats. They don’t have a clue (most of them) how to fight back.
There is only one way to fight back. Like Frederick Douglass: Agitate, Agitate, Agitate. Douglass was relentless. There was a goal and he was prepared to die for that goal. That is how this might have to be at some point.
