Agree. Totally. Very graphic essay. But I agree. And they could pass background checks but Democrats are afraid to blow up the status quo. When the GOP get into office (if they regain control) , first thing they will do is kill the 60 vote cloture rule. Democrats like things as they are too; it allows them to point the finger.
