America, Second!
The current American administration has no clue how to deal with sharing the world stage

President Bill Clinton, one of the smartest, and astute Presidents we have had in history once asked: what if America became second? Is there something wrong with that.
Clinton was responding directly to the rise of China. He knew it was coming. Bill Clinton is a well read person. He is actually quite brilliant intellectually. He just didn’t always do the right thing as President. (such is life)
But he knew, as others now know for sure, China has risen from its colonial and feudal slumber and is headed to the top of the world’s economic affairs and geopolitical arrangements. It can still be knocked off its pedestal but it could be quite costly to try and fail.
