If American history was different, I would be confident Donald Trump would not have a chance of being elected. But I know the history.
America always chooses the money. And money is not everything; it’s the only thing.
Donald Trump is the Republican nominee for President. He is ahead in the polls. And even crazier, he is everywhere. He dominates the news cycles. The liberal opinion news shows cover him constantly even though they trash him. The satirical news outlets also cover him and make fun of him. The mainstream alphabet soup news programs cover him 24–7. He completely dominates the nation’s discourse.
And through it all, his march back into office appears likely despite the fact that overwhelming evidence proves he tried to stop the results of an election in 2020 that he lost. Add in that he has plans to dismantle the government, deport millions of undocumented persons, and to never leave office again, and you begin to wonder what in the hell is this place after all?
