America’s “Gang of Hooligans”
The death of this empire might be closer than anyone thinks

The quote is from the film, Dr. Zhivago. “Uncle Alex,” utters it in frustration as the country spirals into confusion. Civil war rages in Russia and no one is really in charge. The country is mired in anarchy and chaos. It is a nation in transition but also one which is dysfunctional. Yuri Zhivago, the focus of the film, spends much of the film on all sides of the class struggle as a doctor. He is also a poet.
Hooligans & Weak Democrats
A gang of hooligans is about to run the country. They are worse than the outgoing hooligans who were less gang and more or less, a scattered bunch of weak minded ideologues who overthink everything and never, ever do things right when the chips are down (Yes, I am talking about the Democrats). Their inability to stand in the heat and take harder, more unifying positions rooted in egalitarianism, is one of their weaknesses.
