Here is what I would do on guns if I had total control over the legislative system for 24 hours and could re-design the nation’s national gun laws.

At 12:01 am, I would pass a law that would ban all guns, in all situations. No ownership, no production, no sales of any kind to anyone anywhere. Clean slate. No guns and I mean it.

Ten minutes later I would slowly add the laws that would provide for the rights of gun owners and people who support the 2nd Amendment. I would have a ZOOM and experts could tell me what rights and guns should be exempted from my 100 percent ban.

Anyone via ZOOM can weigh in too while I am in my undetected legal bunker of rule and make a recommendation.

Just send me a note in the chat. I am starting from nothing. But here’s what I would surely add:

People guilty of domestic violence lose their rights, perhaps forever. You don’t need a gun if you are a loose cannon.

Mental illness? Come on now. Have some common sense. You don’t get a gun unless you go to the dark wed or the underground market.

Assault rifles? Nah. Banned. Do you want to shoot those? Join the military. If you are too old, go get a Glock or a Desert Eagle. You do not need a weapon used by the Terminator…
