The legacy media is complicit
The number one story in America right now related to health care is what plans does Robert F. Kennedy Jr. have for the country? The evaluation so far has been mixed.
Some say he is insane. Some say he is a conspiracy theorist who has no business running the government’s health care offerings for those who cannot afford health care. He also has no business making decisions regarding medicine and health care. He is no doctor and has never been a health administrator at any level.
My response: whatever.
RFK Jr. is a strange dude to me. But mostly, he is the waving hand. A distraction. The legacy media loves a distraction. They don’t have to do the hard job of hard reporting. While the legacy media contemplates what RFK Jr. will do when he gets into office, the main issue in America remains out of the discussion: universal health coverage for all Americans. That’s it.
The United States of America, despite the CHIPS program, despite the Patient Affordable Act of 2010, and despite tweaks left over from the Covid-19 pandemic, does not provide health care for all persons in the United States.
