But that is just a Senate rule (a gentlemen's agreement). They could change the rule now and say a simple majority is all that is needed to end a filibuster for legislation involving the regulation of assault weapons. They can pass that now. But they don't have 50 votes. Joe Manchin will never vote for it. They are a mess.
