Biden disses railway workers

To avert a certain strike of railroad workers in the U.S., two branches of government did what they always do: they stood up for corporations and threw workers under a moving train so to speak (certainly, no pun intended).

President Biden is mostly responsible for taking away the right of the workers to strike here. Instead of urging the corporate profit-making rail carriers to give the workers a “handful of sick days,” Biden went to Congress and urged Congress to stop the workers from striking.

There is no other way to put it.

The stakes of the labor fight

Ron Kaminkow, a labor organizer for the workers, and a locomotive engineer said that President Biden has “opted to side with Class One carriers, Class One rail carriers,” companies that have made “record profits” recently.

Instead, Biden forces a bad deal upon workers that “55 percent” of the workers do not support. It is toilet water.

As usual, President Biden coerced Congress to act by stressing that a strike…
