DOJ’s Treatment of the 45th President is White Supremacy on Crack
When do the gloves come off?
We know now that the U.S. Department of Justice and the 45th President were involved in some strange game of Hide and Seek for months. According to the latest reports, it was 20 months of absurdity.
DOJ, via, the National Archives gave him some rope and then more rope as they went about trying to retrieve their documents. Then they cut the guy some slack.
Then, they knew he was openly violating the law and they still threw him yet another rope. He got the benefit of the doubt and then some benefits for that benefit. It is truly crazy.
I am not saying people who are under investigation should get the RAMBO treatment from Day 1 (this is what people like the late Breonna Taylor got from the state). But, I am for elected officials being held to a high standard. An even higher standard than an ordinary citizen.
This is not what is going on here. This is white supremacy on dope.
I am cool with Merrick Garland being careful and doing things by the book. Yet, I am not cool with this Emperor treatment the 45th President is receiving. I am not cool with some kind of “Great White King” treatment he is receiving and that his foolish and uninformed supporters are demanding.
