Florida’s ‘Stop Woke’ Law Just Got Knocked Out!

Florida Governor Ron DeSantis is slowly losing his mojo. He never really had one really. He thought he did when he passed a crazy law that targeted Critical Race Theory (CRT) and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) back in 2022. Most sane people were outraged by his control freak behavior as governor.
But the law is dead now. Kaput.
The law, nicknamed “The Stop Woke Act” was unconstitutional on its face and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the 11th Circuit just said so. The really foul thing about the law is DeSantis only got the law passed hoping to be elected President. He bragged was that Florida was where “Woke” went to die. Though the entire “Woke” debate is stupid and manipulative, “Woke” is alive in Florida thanks to the 11th Cir. U.S. Court of Appeals this past week.
The U.S. Court of Appeals (11th Circuit) flushed DeSantis’ brazen attempt to control speech on race, racism, diversity and other ideas down the drain into the waters of the Atlantic. The law was specifically designed to cancel any discussion at all about delicate racial topics or discussions around diversity. The law was (is) unconstitutional and racist.
