I actually think it is troubling he got all of these votes from White Amercans but not for the reasons you state. Yes, those reasons are adequate but he did not do the one job a President is hired to do - use the apparatus of state power to protect the people of the country. He failed. His failures crashed the economy. His failures has people unemployed, getting evicted, losing their homes, perhaps. It is puzzling that a person who failed so badly would get a vote of confidence. That is the sad reality of the white vote.
