I agree but people who should run, and are younger won’t. So it is not the fault of the older people. It is a creature of our broken two party system. AOC should run. Jamie Raskin should run. Martin O’Malley should run. Kamala Harris should step down as VP and run. You don’t always run to win. You run to organize voters and promote issues. Gretchen Whitmer should surely run for President in 2024 once she is re-elected in Michigan. So many younger people should run. If they don’t what do they expect will happen.
