I agree. I have been freelance writing for 22 years. I didn't come here to make money. I did jump in like you did and I did make a little bit of money, not much, but it was OK to be here. Mostly I am here to write and read and learn. But this is a Ponzi scheme. They know it. It is like UBER for writers. The drivers are being taken for a ride basically. Same here. That's OK. I get to work on my writing skills. Call this the Woodshed. I still agree with you, even though I am not going to leave. But the returns now are a pittance. Once I make the price of admission, I don't care anymore.
