I am not sure what could they do. They held a nomination process and he won. They could have rigged it like the Democrats did in 2016 and stopped Bernie Sanders from running against the guy. But they didn’t. Then he won. I think it is quite remarkable their party is still intact. But this has to play all the way out now. It is a circus but most of the political and media players are happy about all of it
