They have a museum for Mr. Henson there now. And they have named a street for him. He lived here for years before he got the hell out. When I was living in Michigan, I was able to trace the path he took to get out. He crossed at the Detroit River to Canada. On the other side, is an Underground Railroad marker. His cabin in Canada is now a monument. I never was able to cross over and see. I don't believe in bucket lists but if I did, that would be on it. I want to see where he escaped to. I love this piece and of course, the courage of Mr. Henson.
