I would add, the British didn't want the Jewish people.

But the Jews wanted Israel, the British had taken to the Zionist movement, the British had conquered the Ottoman Empire which handed them control of the land, and America and Europe didn’t want the Jews. I would add, the British didn't want the Jewish people. I like this essay, just felt I should add that Britain's main motivation was to stop the Jewish people from coming to England.
