it was catastrophic mentally. I remember sitting in my car for like 10 minutes shaking uncontrollably. Where I hit the deer, it happens all the time. That is distressing. Yet, because it does, there was a highway person at my car in 5–10 minutes. He asked me was I OK. He called the police. He then said he had to go back and check on the deer. Police came like right afterwards. Your comment helped me remember it even more. Maybe I just buried it.
