January 6 Insurrection Committee Hearings Day 2— Post Mortem
Bring on the RINOs
“RINO” — Republican in name only.”
Over thirty (30) Republicans spoke in some manner today at the January 6 Insurrection Committee hearings. Some were by deposition and had lawyers sitting with them. Some testified live. Some spoke on the record without a lawyer.
There were two dominant themes that ruled the day:
First, most of them, in some way, knew the 45th President lost the election (some of them told him in real-time he lost), or even worse, they advised him he was going to lose the election, and they told him.
The second theme: the 45th President mostly didn’t listen, ignored the information, and in the end, he tried to overthrow the government by any means necessary and he had help and encouragement from others.
He knew he was going to lose. He knew he had lost. He knew there was no fraud. He incited an insurrection anyway and still says, the election was stolen.
Go get him right?
Luckily, we don’t conduct business like that in America. You get a chance to defend yourself, usually, or at least, that is the design of the system. But that does not mean, you get away with crimes because you have due process…
