Kristol makes a really good point tho - make the differences between the parties "stark" or should I say "obvious." There is a great book called "Trump" that was written back in 2016 where it is pointed out that Hillary Clinton's problem is, she could not make the differences between herself and the GOP "stark" and very clear. Stop trying to run as GOP lite. It is a losing hand. Those voters they keep chasing will never vote for them. Lure the voters who will vote for you if you fight for them on basic stuff.
