Are you insane?
Roses are red
Violets are blue
I don’t know
but is Medium, through?
It has got to be with this level of lame, lowly engagement for writers and readers. This is pretty bad. Agree?
I think right before the holiday they let the algorithim go wherever it wanted to go. I noticed a lot of new voices, engagement, and discourse. I did say to myself this is our end of the year Christmas bonus. It won’t last.
And now, I have been proven correct.
The platform is sliding into meaninglessness and so they are throwing a few crumbs on the floor for the ants. I am no longer hopeful.
Because now, things are back to the way it was before the holidays. They are treating us like Oliver Twist in Charles Dickens’ novel, Oliver Twist.
As the poet, Dylan Thomas once wrote: “Do not go gentle into that good night.”
My view is, Medium, go gentle or rough but stop treating something beautiful like the…
