I am not a hardcore capitalist.

Yet, I know where I live.

Or as Adam Smith famously said when this system we live with was launched:

“It is not from the benevolence of the butcher, the brewer, or the baker that we expect our dinner, but from their regard to their own self-interest.

Those earnings are for this month. LOL. I think that is an average of less than a dollar a day. I am laughing louder as I write this. I hadn’t visited Medium in days but just decided to check. Yikes.

But on the real, I refuse to donate anything of substance to these feudal lords anymore. It is insane. I have started removing my stories from the money train basically. I can’t imagine when will feel like writing here again in the spirit of Adam Smith. If I do, it won’t be in the “Partner Program,” whatever that is.

The last time I earned such a small amount of loot for writing was four (4) years ago. I cannot help but laugh. I am not mad. It is just time to call these bamas out.

But I will say, this is why I always tip LYFT drivers, and Instacart folks, and workers from Task Rabbit. I know they too are being exploited by parasitic techno-feudalists. I will try to show them respect. Medium don’t give a F — .

I ain’t playing the game with them. Nah. I do miss the chatter on here reading stories and commenting back and forth. But this is so stupid, they must think the writers on here were born this morning. They won’t be here long Medium Staff Medium
