Medium Lets You Tip The Writers Now

Do I feel like a waiter?

The answer is, Hell no. I am a writer. And I love waiters. I always tip generously.

And hopefully, people will start tipping writers here generously on @MEDIUM. This can be a win-win.

And needless to say, I worked as a waiter before. It was tough work. I did not last long. They had me doing all sorts of “non-waiter” things.

Then I spilled some hot ass coffee on a guy’s hand. I knew waiting tables wasn’t my rodeo after that.

But the tips was the gold. It made my checks reasonable at least. My earned hourly income was crumbs.

So, please tip writers here (and waiters when you dine). Tip generously.

We writers work hard. Our articles are good. We serve it every day. We try hard to deliver specials too.

If you tip, writers will tip other writers. It is like at the grocery store or the pharmacy and right before you pay for your items, it will say, Would you like to donate to the American Heart Association?

I almost always hit, yes, and give a few dollars.

I am not rich either. In fact, like many, I live in that economic crease. If I have a bad stretch, I might have to put off a car repair or use a credit card to get it…
