The Hostages Bibi Doesn’t Want Released
The young Jewish-Israeli kid’s face (Hersh Goldberg-Polin) on the front of the Jewish Telegraphic Agency’s article was sobering.
I felt so bad for his friends, his family, and just thought, how sad. His family members were just on television here in the states at the DNC convention. And I also again remember and focused on all of the others killed since this began on October 7, 2023. And everyone killed since the Nakba in ‘48. And everyone killed since it all began in about 1917, or so, well, at least. Slaughter after slaughter.
And especially what is going on in Gaza today, and now the West Bank is sobering. We are beyond (I am) anger mode. I am not angry. I am defeated. Hersh Goldberg-Polin’s face crushed me but I have long since given up.
Geopolitics is a killing field. Benjamin Netanyahu is a war criminal. He belongs at the Hague. He belongs in prison. Regardless of what happens next, he is a war criminal. His policy right now is soaked in blood and death.
He is not (and has never been) interested in securing the release of the hostages. He is not (and has never been) interested in anying but conquest and genocide. I am not sure how he is still in office; yet, I do. (No…
