No to both, but we should all agree that the country is now 340 million and the Court should be expanded. The parties in power should be able to see this. It should have happened years ago. And the Court should have term limits so it can be de-politicized. It is a Court not a political arm. Of course, there are politics built into it no matter what but that is fair. Judges should have politics. But what has happened to that Court now is an abomination. It violates ever ethic of what a judicial arm in a state is. Independent and only concerned with the law, the rule of law, as they see it. Yet, in the meantime, the Republicans violated the ethics of basic politics when they did not allow a vote on the Scalia vacancy. People talk about Amy Barrett being appointed in two weeks but technically, her vacancy was when Trump had the legal power to appoint a justice. Gorsuch, on the other hand, to me is a judge who does not belong on the Court. That is why their decisions are so out of wack with the country’s current temperment. The country is split like 40–40 and 20 who don’t care, but because of that seat, the Supreme Court is about to make rulings that are inconsistent with the public opinion of where they think the law should go.
