One other thing I would add is - Hamas has no reason to surrender. Israel cannot make them surrender. They have offices in other countries. Their money comes from Qatar. Bibi is the one who encouraged Qatar to bankroll Hamas. It is all such a con game at this point. In 2019, Bibi implored the political class in Israel to trust him on keeping Hamas alive and financially solvent. Israel, under him, wants and needs Hamas. Without Hamas, peace talks are possible. But he can always say, no way do we negotiate with Hamas. It's a swindle to me.
