Perhaps Israel shall emerge as the next ambitious imperial power if the U.S. continues its death spiral. Is that preposterous? Strategically, it is in a tough spot. But, the U.S. is going to hand off some of this mess it made sooner or later. The United Kingdom eventually did so. And they handed the ball to the U.S. Who does the U.S. try to pass it too?
