Rasmussen Reports Posted a Mug Shot of Dr. King on Trump Mugshot Day

Dear Rasmussen Reports —
I am a bit ticked today. Hear me out:
Your polling company on “X” formerly known as Twitter posted the mugshot photos of the Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. yesterday. You posted them first as a reply to your tweet (or post) of the ex-President Donald Trump’s mug shot. Then you posted the mugshot alone. Almost immediately people noticed.
And also, people were outraged.
Journalist Julia Ioffe, of Puck News wrote: “wooooooowwwwwww.”
Ian Bremmer, the Political scientist and commentator, wrote: “Hard to understand the comparison being made here.”
Others wrote: “Gross” and “WTF is this supposed to mean?” and the most frequent response — “Damn.”
A few suggested that whoever Rasmussen was before the post, no one should trust their polling anymore. For the record, I didn’t trust you before you did this, so no worries. Carry on. But your company has had a reputation for favoring…
