Republicans And the Spectacle of Herschel Walker
The GOP is a complete joke right now
Republican Lieutenant Governor, Jeff Duncan of Georgia claimed he went to vote last week in early voting. Duncan said he waited in line for “about an hour” to vote in Georgia only to be confronted with “the most disappointing ballot I’ve ever stared at in my entire life.”
Of the two candidates, Rev. Raphael Warnock and Herschel Walker, Duncan said he “just couldn’t find anything that made sense for me to put my vote behind…so I walked out of that ballot box…not voting for either one of them.”
Violins, please!
But check what Duncan says later of Herschel Walker, his party’s candidate:
According to Duncan, Walker “wasn’t the right brand for Republicanism, and I think Herschel Walker will probably go down as one of the worst Republican candidates in our party’s history.”
I am not for Walker. But even I have to admit, that is dirty backstabbing politics by one of your own.
Walker is unqualified. He is a professional celebrity. Yet, when I heard what Duncan said of Walker, I called it total bullshit.
By GOP standards, Walker is mild in his decadent, disturbed conduct and ideas. In fact, Walker is a mainstream Republican.
