Russia Is Getting Smoked
The war is lost and so is the new dream of a Russian empire
If you have ever read Sun Tzu’s most famous book, The Art of War, you understand why the invasion of Ukraine by Russia has failed and will fail. If you have been watching the news or reading most news accounts, you know the details.
Ukraine and its people want to fight and believe in the cause of defending their country. The Russians who are fighting and/or being forced to fight do not believe in the invasion. They have been questioning this expedition ever since they were pushed out of Kyiv.
A few weeks back, I read Jessica Aro’s brilliant book, Putin’s Trolls.
The main theme I took away from the book is that there is no truth or facts that can be trusted from some sources in Russia and other places that support the regime. Yet, the book also helped me discover investigative journalism that was on going from people like Eliot Higgins and his Bellingcat digital publication.
Taking a look at Bellingcat led to other journalists on the ground documenting the real results of the war day by day. Access to these sources via Twitter revealed Ukraine was winning the war and would win the war. These bloggers deal in the truth of the conflict and the malevolent details.
