I am not a death penalty person. I cringe at the thought of the state ( a state) having the power of life and death over persons.

Yet, the federal government should seek the death penalty in the Buffalo terrorism case. Put white supremacy itself on trial in light of the manifesto that has emerged that is drenched in racial hate, eugenics, and outright madness.

The shooter has admitted his ideology and why he shot up the grocery store. He got his ideas from his older white brethren who spread the evil of white supremacy day in and day out in various institutions.

For that, if found guilty after trial (no plea, no deal & there should be a trial), death should be on the table for the perpetrator. That’s mainly because white supremacy should be discredited and put to death itself.

I give. I am mentally done with this.

Under current federal law, the death penalty can be sought in this case if the federal government charges (and it should take this case over and charge). There are two federal laws (see below) in particular where death can be sought in this case.
