That is the real issue. We just keep voting against eating horse shit when we still are eating shit. And then we are told, next time. That's why it is so whacked out. They had decades to allow participation by the people more openly and more fully. And now, they are about to find out. I used to live in a piece of shit state, full of guns, bigots, and religious fanatics. They want to be ruled by a strong man dictator. So, I got out. The only solution is to get out. Many states here are real places to live. Some are just shit holes.
