The GOP VP nominee, J.D. Vance insulted a large portion of the American population the other day. He was trying hard to insult Presidential candidate Kamala Harris but he insulted millions of women and men who do not have biological children for all kinds of reasons. It was a strange segment on Tucker Carlson’s show needless to note.
Vance, a young kid if you understand how life works, said basically if you don’t have biological children you are incapable of making decisions about government policy. You are unqualified. It was a sick and dumb statement.
Here is a guy who is Roman Catholic. This is a faith, needless to say, where men (priests) must remain celibate and they make all of the decisions about the lives of millions of people in the faith. One of their more important articles of faith is opposition to abortion. Men, I write again, who don’t have children and don’t try to have children are telling women they must have children or else.
Vance likely thinks this is fine for his priestly counsels but Kamala Harris, who is a stepmother to her husband Second Man, Doug Emhoff’s two children, is unqualified? I’m confused but this is what happens in right wing land but…
