The Insanity of the Ukraine-Russia-U.S. War
No one is coming to stop this
Vladimir Putin said a lot last week about the United States and the West. If you have not read his speech, read it. He got it all in.
Here’s a bit of it:
African colonialism. Check.
Genocide of Native Americans. Check.
Atomic destruction of Japan. Check.
Etc. Etc. Etc. Check.
And here is the best one of all: “Russiaphobia is racism.” Help me, somebody. This sounds like the white supremacists in the U.S. who when called out for racist ideas and policies, accuse others of racism.
Yet, on the same day, Putin invoked the many nations and peoples obliterated and exploited by the U.S., he annexed parts of another country — Ukraine. He just declared suddenly that these territories are now Russia’s.
Did the U.S. do this when it became the U.S.? Yes, it did. We all know that history now. But that was wrong as is this annexation.
As for Putin, he announced the annexation of Ukraine mostly because he is losing the war with Ukraine. He needs a win now. He needs a branch to hang onto as he is dangling off the cliff.
