The reasons some resist the whole mask issue is because of the government's failure to accept responsibility to take care of its people in a crisis. We don't have such a society. Thus, any talk of restrictions, to them, the poor, the working poor, and the not middle class, with options, means, less money, economic struggle, etc. They must fight to keep the economy open otherwise, they are in dire straits on many levels. No cash, stuck at home with chilidren to care for, no medicine, nothing. I also live in an educated area with a liberal mindset, and where the economy is mostly open with restrictions. But, I interact with people in areas not so lucky as well. It is just another world.
