The issue of our time

We are officially in the Reparations era.

In the 20th century, the problem in America was the “color line” according to W.E.B. DuBois (he declared such in 1903 officially). Now, the issue today is economics, and reparations for economic plunder and theft by the West.

For African Americans, that means the United States of America, their country. The U.S.A. allowed it to happen, was the acting agent to make it happen in some instances, and it has also fought vigorously to maintain those systems and institutions that refuse to address the human rights crimes against American citizens of African descent.

Or, how will America economically address past human rights violations and financial plunder?

The crimes against Americans

You can tell this is real issue. Opposition is fierce as ever. Every time an argument is put forth why it is wrong to award economic reparations, it is shot down in flames as lacking any basis in fact or truth. Chattel slavery for approximately 250–400 years was a crime against humanity that resulted in economic deprivation and plunder. Restorative justice for these crimes should be in order.
