The legislators who wrote the Fourteenth Amendment (full text is after this rant below) were made to look like fools in December 2000. That was the moment when the U.S. Supreme Court, with five Republican appointees, “selected” George W. Bush as President. Today, they were made to look even more foolish (the oral argument was pretty obvious). They clearly indicated that the actual Fourteenth Amendment doesn’t exist as well.

The American death spiral? It accelerated today. These judges are meaningless at this point. They are not going to do their jobs.

And now, a few more words on Bush v. Gore…

Bush v. Gore

In 2000, December, the state of Florida was finishing the counting of votes and George W. Bush was barely ahead. But, Al Gore, the Vice President under President Bill Clinton from 1993 to 2001, was gaining fast. Then, the U.S. Supreme Court, per an appeal filed by George W. Bush seeking to stop the counting of the votes by the state of Florida, ruled in Bush’s favor. They stopped a state from counting its votes. George W. Bush was declared President that quick. Boom !
