these statistics are off the charts. I guess murder will be Hip-Hop's reason. Blues had a lot of murders as well. Stabbings, etc. Jazz was a bit of it all. Overdoses. Illness related to alcoholism and addiction. Some murders as well. Rhythm and blues has had some tragic violent deaths as well. That music star life attracts this kind of end. HipHop is reflective of the violence of these times though. Violence has always been there, even in country music. But this level of violence is pretty wasteful.
