Thnaks for your comments. US has a shortage of housing as well. Very bad. However, my article is not about shortage of housing. It is about outcomes when a tenant has a lawyer. Those outcomes are better. That is better for the landlords as well. The tenant remains in the unit. The tenant keeps paying rent. Any funds owed is paid through programs designed to catch up back rental payments. The option of eviction and homelessness and an empty rental unit earning nothing is bad. Landlords want tenants who can pay. This is what I am describing.
