Trump And Illegality Is Like White Is To Snow

It is to the country’s credit that despite the electoral college flaw in our politics that an election was held and a President was elected. There was no knife fight, no mobs, no police officers getting hit in the head with a hockey stick, and no calls to stop the election. Peaceful transfer occurred.
The ACLU has already sued the administration and has temporarily stopped the attempt to amend the Constitution by decree. Trump’s attempt to end birthright citizenship is illegal. The only way it can stand is if some Trump appointee goes loco and forgets what they learned in law school. One Reagan appointee already declared it illegal. That judge even went as far to say: he can’t believe a member of the bar would even draft such an order.

Trump illegally fired a bunch of Inspector Generals. These are the independent government watchdogs. Why would you would want a watchdog around to stop you from robbing the treasury? If you were going to commit illegal acts, the first people you want to get rid of are the watchdogs. It is like as someone said, taking the cameras out of a bank so you can go in there and rob it.

Trump is trying to run through the immigration rules without allowing due process. We knew this was coming. The ACLU is on this as well. Lawsuits for $1000, Alex.

Trump rescinded Lyndon Johnson’s equal opportunity executive order of 1965. The real goal is to get rid of the Civil Rights Act of 1964. Yet, that is too difficult. So, you do something close to it: you get rid of the executive order issued to partially implement the order.

There is going to be a lot more of this. No one should have a beef with a President who follows the law, obeys the rule of law, and respects human beings as human beings. This one does not. He has never, ever in his life sought to obey the law. He isn’t wired like that. He is the guy who goes to the house party back in the day that cost $1 and he tries to break in the party through a window. He is that petty.
No excuses though. All of this who are old enough to remember the shyster from the days long before Celebrity Apprentice, we know what he is about and has been about. I know why many people like him too: because he is a shyster. The shame is ordinary people think he is going to work for them. He works for the oligarchs, the billionaires, the parasites, and industrial tycoons who can’t compete in the world market toe to toe with better people.
He is going tariff tariff tariff to protect those kinds of people. He is going protectionist to protect those kinds of people. He is also distracting people with this nonsense about undocumented persons in America. America can’t survive without a steady flow of immigrants who work hard, have new ideas, and help economies all across the country catch fire.
So dig in, folks. Push back. Don’t help this person do his dirt. You are better than that. America collectively might not be better than that, but individually many of us are better than that. We didn’t vote for him. Maybe we didn’t vote because we know the system is broken. But that does not mean you have to support fascism. Fascism is evil. Depraved. Push back, people.
