Trump: Has the End Finally Come?

Once again, the Republican Party is trying confuse us all on Donald Trump, their leader. It’s what they do. They do anything but govern.

Trump (I don’t like saying or writing his name so I will just go with Trump) will be effectively arrested tomorrow in Manhattan. That’s what happens when you surrender to an indictment.

The GOP response to this arrest for his crimes? The normal — scream injustice and to declare it all — political.

Nonsense.

As Jon Stewart, the former host of The Daily Show stressed, either we have the rule of law or we don’t. And if anything, an ex-President who committed crimes has to be called to account for alleged crimes. They are the law in an organized society. They are held to a higher standard.

If you don’t know, years ago a Democrat, and former Vice Presidential candidate John Edwards faced these same charges Trump faces now back in 2011. Edwards had a mistress and was accused of using campaign funds to try to pay for silence. Edwards got his mistress pregnant. It eventually got exposed.

A Republican appointed U.S. Attorney went after Edwards very hard like it was political. But…
