The Only Answer For All Workers Now is to Unionize

It’s May Day. And time for workers to unionize. It is clear now. If it wasn’t clear when Trump made meat plant workers remain in a dangerous, unsafe working environment, the threat to cut off their unemployment benefits if they don’t report to work, is another hint to collectively send a message.

The business class wants the workers to return to work and get sick or die. They don’t care (if you do, speak up is the answer to the idea that you don’t feel this way). The U.S. has 60,000 + dead and more than a million people infected. There are thousands of new cases a day which means people are still getting infected. Some states never really shut down. Some don’t test or keep track of the dead accurately. It is a game of death. The only answer to this for workers is to unionize, organize and push back. There is a history of success when workers organize. This pandemic has pulled back the veil and made it clear.

I am not sure what the purpose of opening up now is but the pandemic has not been contained in most of the world and surely not in the U.S. The shutdowns in the states was to save the health care systems from collapsing and then people with other illnesses would also be sucked into the pandemic death spiral. There is evidence out there to the contrary. Many countries are going slow even countries who had success containing the virus. The U.S. hasn’t contained anything. The response was

As for the workers. Time to unionize. No matter the trade or occupation. Unionize. Am I in a union? Yes. Only the collective can fight the superstructure. Only the collective can get some balance back in our system. Watch this. And remember. Union. It’s the only hope, right now. The business class and their government servants are looking to kill people to make money.
