White is a caste system. Black is a response to that caste system. They never called us Blacks. Colored. Negro. Some other evil. We named ourselves Black. To say, we reject white supremacy. And we have a history and a culture and it is African, and African American, but mostly it is Black. Black is a country. Black is a culture.
