You not going to make me his defender, Brother Hal. I never even downloaded one album. Never listened to one album straight through. I leave that to him. LOL. Only place I hear 'Stan' anyway is on my I-phone and college radio. So to me, it is not even necessarily a classic of the genre it is labeled under. It is just a pretty dystopian era classic for me. Like 'Bittersweet Symphony' by the Verve. Definetly a different vibe on both of those songs.
